Parking in Savonlinna
Savonlinna has a limited number of parking spaces because the city centre is on island. When parking your vehicle, please check the parking restrictions, instructions for using parking discs and the parking charges carefully. A fine of 45 euros is charged for parking offences, and must be paid within 30 days. If you have been issued with a parking fine, you have the right to lodge an appeal if you consider the fine to be unjustified but this does not extend the deadline for paying it. Interest is charged on unpaid parking fines, taking the total to 59 euros.
