Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.

In July and August, open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM.

2023 Exceptions to Opening Hours

Closed on the following dates:

  • October 5 Staff’s education day
  • April 7 (Good Friday)
  • June 23 and 24 (Midsummer)
  • December 6 (Finland’s Independence Day)
  • December 18 through 24 (Christmas)

The Riihisaari Museum Ships are open to visitors in the summer during the museum’s regular opening hours. The ships are closed for the winter. See here for more information on our museum ships.

A group must have at least 10 people to qualify for group tickets.
Combined ticket for Riihisaari and Olavinlinna Castle15 €
Combined tickets are valid for the day of purchase.
Museum Card76 €
The Finnish Museum Card grants access to over 300 museums, and is valid for one year, starting from the date it is first used.

We accept the Finnish Museum Card. Holders of a Hostelling International Card may enter at group ticket prices.
